Easter egg hunts are not just for children anymore! All of the area canines and their adult human companions are invited to an "Eggciting" Easter Egg Hunt for Dogs at Akron Dog Park. This is an event specifically for dogs, but there will also be some special gift eggs that contain prizes that humans will love too!

There will be treat filled Easter Eggs hidden throughout the Dog Park Easter Egg Hunt playing field. By attending this event, you agree to follow all the established Akron Dog Park park rules in addition to the Easter Egg Hunt for Dogs Rules listed below.

  • All dogs must be well controlled and remain on a leash no longer than 6 feet during the egg hunt.

  • Owners assume responsibility for themselves and their dog’s actions and must closely observe their pet to ensure they do not eat the plastic Easter eggs.

  • This is not a competition. Each dog will have an egg finding limit so that we can keep the Easter Egg Hunt for Dogs fair and worry free. When a dog's nose or paw touches the egg, it can be put into your basket.

  • No shaking, or opening eggs until after the hunt. Once an egg is touch by you or your dog, it is yours and must be placed in your basket.

  • Please bring your own egg basket or bag to collect your eggs and dog treats in.

  • 100% of the dog park Easter egg hunt proceeds will benefit Better Akron Recreation for Canines (B.A.R.C), a registered 501c3 public charity that operates and maintains Akron Dog Park.

  • This event will take place in rain or shine. All sales final. No refunds or exchanges.
